about the River Gallery

The River Gallery’s mission is “to be a dynamic visual arts center for the community and public. To be a group of artists expressing and experiencing an awareness of art expression in all media. To be an avenue for the public to experience a growing knowledge of the visual arts. To be an encouraging factor in development in upcoming artists.”

The River Gallery is located in West Monroe, Louisiana’s Antique Alley area. We are the oldest and most successful artist co-op in the state of Louisiana. Our original art, which is tax free, includes paintings (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media), ceramics (both functional and decorative), photography (black and white, and color), wood turning, and jewelry.

The Ouachita River Art Gallery (nicknamed The River Gallery) is a non-profit organization located at 308 Trenton Street in West Monroe, Louisiana. It has been designated as part of the Cottonport Historic Cultural District and is sales-tax–free on purchases of original art. Phone: (318) 322-2380; Hours: Tues-Sat 10am-5pm
